A.8.33 Test Information

Control Objective

Test information shall be appropriately selected, protected and managed.

Policy Statement

anDREa enforces absolute isolation between production data and software testing lifecycles. To completely eliminate the risk of unauthorized exposure, data spillage, or privacy breaches involving actual research or customer data, the use of live production data within non-production environments is strictly prohibited.

Test Data Selection & Management Guardrails

  • Synthetic Data Paradigm: All testing, quality assurance verification, and user acceptance staging workflows must exclusively utilize artificially generated synthetic data, anonymized mock sets, or non-sensitive structural test vectors.
  • Zero Production Ingestion: Under no circumstances shall data be extracted, duplicated, or derived from active production environments, customer data repositories, or live user profiles for use in software development or testing phases (see: * A.08.31 - Separation of development, test and production environments*).
  • Shared Responsibility Context: In alignment with anDREa’s role as an infrastructure provider, the company does not possess, manage, or host customer research datasets natively. Therefore, testing loops operate in a completely air-gapped data state relative to tenant workloads.
